MP backs biodiesel tax break campaign

Liberal Democrat George is backing a campaign to keep tax breaks for business who produce biodiesel.
Producers converting cooking oil into biodiesel presently gain from a 20p differential however that is because of end next April.
The St Ives MP, who leads the Lib Dem Environment Team, has been satisfying with the UK sustainable biodiesel alliance.
Mr George stated "a number of small companies in Cornwall currently generate income from utilized cooking oil".
He included: "In order to be able to get this type of market going it does need just a bit of lift which comes in the kind of tax inevitable."
Biodiesel is a mix of conventional diesel, rapeseed and veggie oils.
